Came here because of the positive reviews. Our food was indeed delicious but in my opinion overpriced. The portion was small and compared to other local restaurants the prices are a bit too high. My son had ordered steak (29€) and he was still not full afterwards. The table charge is 3€ per person and we got some bread, olive oil without any plate.
Not easy to get table, but i was lucky . Fast great dinner. Some meat, and meat ;) for desert was great parmigiana with very special confit your, spicy mhm. Thank you was really worth to jump in. !!!
Absolutely a Wow-Place! The restaurant is great and very delicious. Every meal we've got were soooo tasty and created with love for sure! From starter to main course to desert: All great stuff and highly recommended. Additional Bonus: Cheese and meat products can be bought at the cosy store area in the front 💯 …
Part restaurant part salumeria serving food at Michelin Guide levels. It's lovely to be able to peek into the kitchen and see fantastic work of the kitchen staff. Make sure you try some of the cold cuts (with fried bread, "torta fritta") as well as the dishes on the menu. Expect to pay approximately EUR 50-60 / person for a meal with wine, coffee, and dessert.
The authentic Parma experience. Excellence shines through every facet of food, wine and service. All while keeping a light and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. (Make a rez well in advance)
First rate family salumeria and restaurant with a lovely garden courtyard, who could not have been more welcoming when I arrived close to kitchen closing time. You can sense the buzz of the place in summer through the hedge as you walk past. Great atmosphere, food and service
Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. They have cute courtyard behind. Everything was just perfect.
I have a Rolex, the person who attended us in this restaurant has a Rolex too. Showing a Rolex does not mean that your restaurant has the same exquisite high standard as a Swiss watch. The restaurant is outside of the touristic area in Parma, it is well decorated, the staff is very professional, the atmosphere is well balance, the food is really good (a bit overpriced in general, just a expresso is 3€. This is what I pay in Zürich when I go to the office. Italy is not a rich country since the XVII century, the italians think that roman empire is still alive although they are second/third class in Europe).
In such fancy restaurant you expect that they pay attention to the every detail, to make the experience holistically amazing. We asked for a small bottle of wine (375ml) that we saw in the menu. It was just 15€ for this small bottle. A few minutes later the owner tells us that he does not have more a small bottle of this wine BUT he can open a big bottle (750ml) and serve to us 2 glasses (a tiny ones, 1cl) for 6€ each glass. Therefore: 4 glasses = 400 ml = 24€. The small bottle was 375 ml = 15€. Yep, we were cheated.
We paid a bill of 88€ for 2 people (3€ per coperto each person, a few slices of bread! yes! welcome to Italy!). Honestly, if your client asks you for a small bottle of wine as it is in your menu (15€), is it so difficult for you to serve 4 glasses of wine for 15€ instead of charging 6€ per glass? Mediocrity is not an option if you want to offer a first class service.
In short: the Swiss Rolex is more decent than this italian restaurant.
